Marilyn C. Visco, 62, of Whitehaven, Pa died on Sunday, June 26th, 2011 at her home. She was born in Chester to Alfred and Mary Chew. She was reared and educated in the Linwood section of Lower Chichester where she attended Holy Saviour School and later graduated from Notre Dame High School. She worked as a real estate agent in both the Bucks County and Pocono areas for many years.
Marilyn was known by her friends as the Golden Girl or Goldie. She also had a love of angels. She enjoyed singing and dancing. She was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Yardley, PA where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. What she enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her family. Marilyn was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Edward A. Visco Jr. (Helen) of Phildelphia, Pa., Evan Visco (Rebekah) of Belmont, NC and Erik Visco of Levittown, PA.; Brothers, A. Kendall Chew III, Donald F. Chew and Edward A. Chew; Sisters, Sandra C. Reynolds and M. Allison Dado; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 10:30am at Holy Saviour Church in Linwoood, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday evening from 7pm-9pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa and also on Thursday morning from 9:30am-10:30am at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
