Margaret “Peggy” Higgins passed away on June 20^th, 2021 at Foulk Manor Nursing Home in Wilmington, DE.  She was raised and educated in Linwood.  She later went on to earn a BS in Chemistry from Chestnut Hill College.  Peggy lived much of her life in Claymont.  She worked as a Lab Technician for the DuPont Company until her retirement.

Peggy enjoyed vacationing at her Pocono Mountain house as well as the Jersey Shore.  She was predeceased by her son, John T. Stevenson, III; granddaughter, Diana Stevenson.  She is survived by her sons, Thomas J. Stevenson (Lynne) and William E. Stevenson; grandchildren, Leigh S. Joseph (Jonathon), Sara A. Stevenson, and Michael S. Stevenson; great-grandchildren, Lana M. Joseph and Mara B. Joseph.

Her funeral services and burial will be held privately at Lawn Croft Cemetery on Friday, June 25^th.
