Margaret Anne Ward Chaga, 57, of Aston, PA passed away on June 5th, 2023 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was born in Darby, PA and raised and educated in the Twin Oaks section of Upper Chichester. Margie went on to graduate from Unionville High School with the class of 1984. After graduation she worked for Nannas, Haines, and Schiavo for many years. She was a member of the Green Ridge Recreation Club and also the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 926. Margie enjoyed going to the horse races, casinos, and playing in a pool league. She liked to travel, especially taking trips to the beach.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph A. and Eileen Smith Ward; brothers, Joseph F. Ward and Thomas J. Ward; sister-in-law, Jennifer Ward. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, George Chaga; step-son, Jason G. Chaga (Jackie); brothers, Francis Ward (Carol), and Edward Ward; sister, Ellen Crowell (Jeff); grandchildren, Sophia, Kyra, and Jada; brother-in-law, Michael E. Chaga (Doris); sisters-in-law, Debra Chaga (Alex), Charlotte Coverdale (Karl), Nancy Ward, and Ruth Ann Ward; Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12th at 11am at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, Pa 19086. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 9am-11am. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.

Hey Marge, I will never forget the many fun and enjoyable times we had together. We laughed like two hyenas. Movies, dinners, BINGO!!, concerts, beach, and of course our important weekly meetings at Tom’s.
I will miss you and remember you dearly.
