Mae A. Adams, nee Rogers, 98 years old of Linwood, passed away June 4, 2008 at Brinton Manor Nursing Home. Born and raised in Shamokin PA to the late Samuel and Anna Lincoln Rogers.

Mrs. Adams was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. She was a resident of Linwood section of Lower Chichester for 55 years. She was the Educational Chairwoman of the Linwood Century Club, she initiated charter application for the Lower Chichester Seniors, and was active in 3 chapters of AARP. She also loved dogs.

She was predeceased by her husband of 75 years Elwood Leroy Adams in 2006. She was also predeceased by her parents Samuel and Anna Rogers. She is survived by her daughter Velma Mastro, of Wilmington DE, and her grandchildren David (Pamela) Mastro and F. James (Barbara) Mastro, great grandmother of David Jr., Angela, James and Jessica.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11am Saturday at Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood calling 10-11am at funeral home, burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
