Louis A. Rich, Jr. of Claymont, DE passed away on Thursday, December 18th, 2025 at his home. He was raised and educated in Linwood and Upper Chichester. Lou attended Holy Saviour School. He Graduated from Chichester High school. He later went on to become a merchant marine. He was also a member of the Wilmington Power Boat Squadron, and the American Legion, Post 951 in Ogden.
Lou worked as a printer for the Sunroc Corporation before becoming the owner and operator of Express Printing in Trainer, PA. He was an avid sports fan. Lou played semi-pro baseball, and especially loved the Kentucky Derby. He also loved animals, especially his dog Popeye. Lou was a loving and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend.
He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Ann Dubolino Rich; son, Baby Louis Rich; sister, Rosemarie Rich; brother, Joe rich.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lisa Rich; daughters, Megan Cuerden (Neil), Nicole Byrne, Andrea Byrne; brother, Frank Rich (Charlotte); grandchildren, Brianna, Riley, Peyton, Ava, Tylor, Jenna, Jason, William, and Journey; many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at 11am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 4701 Weldin Rd. Wilmington, DE. Friends and family are invited for his viewing from 10-11am in church. Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, PA.

When I owned the Dairy King, Lou did a lot of work for Me. We had long conversations at Express Printing. He was an especially nice Man. RIP Lou.

What a heartbreak for you, Lisa. I know you truly loved your sweet Lou, and please take comfort in that you were with him every step of the way, fighting to get him the help he needed, and your love was all in for Lou. God comfort you. You should live without regret. You did everything right by your loving husband.

Lou was a friend for 45 years. he helped me many times when Things were going bad . We loved horses horses and sports and had many good times together.
