Lorraine M. Hayworth Brown, 79, of Upper Chichester died Thursday, October 6th, 2011 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. She was born in Philadelphia to Raymond and Julia Hayworth. She was a graduate of Springfield High School in Delaware County with the class of 1950.
Lorraine was a woman who was devoted to her home and family. She was a long-time member of St. John Fisher Church. She also belonged to both the St. John’s on the Hill and Upper Chichester Senior Citizens Clubs. She enjoyed participating in church activities and traveling.
She was predeceased by her Son, Edward Brown and Sister, Dorothy Szymansky. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Norman Brown of Boothwyn; Daughter, Joan DiObilda of West Chester; Sons William Brown (Jeanne) of Avondale and Francis Brown (Tami) of Connecticut; 3 Brothers, Raymond, Francis and Terry Hayworth; Sister, Rita Doyle; Eight Grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 11th at 11am at St. John Fisher Church in Boothwyn. Friends and family are invited to call from 9:30am-11am at the church. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
