Linda S. Reed Wolfe, 56 of the Linwood section of Lower Chichester died Monday January 4th 2010 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Upland. Born in Upland to William J. and Mary Morris Reed, she was reared and educated in the Twin Oaks section of Upper Chichester. She attended Chichester High School graduating with the class of 1971 during which time she was a member of the school’s marching band.

Linda worked for the Wawa Corporation at it’s Linwood store for 10 years and after that she was employed by South Penn Lock and Safe Co. as a bookkeeper. She was a lifelong active member of the Linwood United Methodist Church where she sang with the Church’s Choir and also served as the Church treasurer for a number of years.

A woman who devoted her life to her home and family she also enjoyed the last eight years at her beach house in Fenwick Island, DE.

She was predeceased by father who died in 2002 and her mother who died on December 20th 2009 and her sister Robin Carol Reed who died in 1964. Survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert A. Wolfe. One son Keith Alan Wolfe and her daughter Lisa Marie Wolfe both at home. Three brothers Alan Reed of Zephyr Hills, FL, Glenn “Willis” Reed of Twin Oaks and Jeff Reed of Upper Chichester. Two sisters Sharon Fraber of Crofton, MD and Sandy Baxter of Claymont, DE.

Her funeral service will be celebrated 11:30am Friday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood where there will be calling from 10 to 11:30. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery Linwood.
