Leonard D. Majeski, age 73, of Boothwyn, PA passed away peacefully on September 11. Leonard filled many roles as a forklift operator at Sunship and as a coach driver, crossing guard and retail clerk. He was active in local fire companies and a member of the Delaware County Fire Police Association. He was a member of Boothwyn American Legion 951, Claymont Moose Lodge 847, FOE 74 and the Knights of Columbus Christopher Council.
Leonard enjoyed bingo and horse racing and he loved dogs. He is survived by his faithful dog companion, Harriet. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 19th at 11am at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4010 Concord Rd. Aston, PA. Online condolences can be sent through www.jwardfuneralhome.com
I didn’t know Leonard. It’s just that I was touched by reading his obituary. The fact that it says he is survived only by his faithful dog Harriet. I hope and pray that someone has taken Harriet and has given her a new loving home.
