Leona R. Yesulaitis, 88 years old, passed away October 5, 2008 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Born and raised in Marcus Hook to the late Elmer and Rosa Blanche Troeger, Leona had been a resident of Boothwyn for most of her life, although she also resided in Thornton and Glen Mills.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, crocheting, gardening, music, sewing, and quilting. She was a longtime member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Thornton and helped with the church nursery and other nurseries.
She is survived by her sons and their families John E. (Harriet) Widlund of Glen Mills and Joe A. (Margie) Yesulaitis of West Chester, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Rosa Troeger and her sister Thelma.
Family and friends invited to her funeral Friday 10:30am, Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home ,1459 Market St. Linwood, calling from 10am; burial, Lawn Croft Cemetery.
