Kathryn Dewees, (nee Fitio), 92, of Boothwyn, Pa., died February 16, 2016 at the Naamans Creek Country Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born and raised in Boothwyn, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Pauline Fitio. She attended Boothwyn Elementary and High Schools.
A woman of faith, Kathryn was an active member of St. John Fisher and St. Rose of Lima Churches as well as many parishes in which she lived throughout her life.

Kathryn was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and having coffee and cookies on her porch. Kathryn was a sweet soul who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn is predeceased by her husband, Hubert J. Dewees; son, Hubert M. Dewees; daughter, Elizabeth Dewees; grandson, Jay Dieterich; and five siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Dieterich of Glassboro, NJ and Marie Dewees, at home; daughter-in-law Mary Teresa Dewees; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 11 a.m.-12pm, Saturday, February 20, St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Avenue, Boothwyn; followed by a Mass of Christian burial at noon.

For medical reasons, the family requests that everyone refrain from wearing scented perfumes, colognes and lotions.

Interment: Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
