Karen LaPorte, 70, of Linwood passed away on Saturday, April 13^th at Kindred Hospital in Havertown.  Karen was a long-time employee of Wawa.  She worked for 24 years at the Wawa store in Linwood.  She also loved to read and go to see theatrical productions.

She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Hopkins.  She is survived by her son, Jason LaPorte (Sandra Smith LaPorte); grandchildren, Kyle and Haley; beloved dog, Chewy.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, April 19^th from 6-8 pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Burial will be private.
