Judith A. Corby Spence, 61, of New Ringgold, PA formerly of Linwood died Thursday, July 22nd at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Chester to Eugene and June Coupe Corby. She was reared and educated in Aston Township where she graduated from Sun Valley High School with the class of 1966. She has lived in New Ringgold for the last five years.
She was a woman devoted to her home and family. She worked as a manager for the Marriott Corporation for 8 years. Prior to that, she was a waitress for Marriott for 7 years.
She enjoyed gardening and baking. She loved her dog, Baby, who was one of the many lucky animals rescued by Judy throughout her life. What she enjoyed most was time spent with her grand children.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, John “Jack” Spence; 2 Sons, Lawrence “Larry” White of Wilmington, DE and John White of Boothwyn; 1 Brother, Eugene Corby of Kittery, Maine; 2 Sisters, Linda Nye of Westminster, MD and Patricia Connor of Drexel Hill; 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grand-daughter.
Her Funeral Service will be 11:00am Tuesday, July 27 at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa. where there will be a calling from 9:30 – 11am. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery in Linwood.
