Judith C. Keen Alford, 77, of Newark, DE passed away on January 9th, 2023 at her home. Judith was born in Wilmington, De to the late Willard M. and Edith S. Bursler Keen. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and graduated from PS DuPont High School with the class of 1963. Judi was employed as a pricing coordinator at Lowes in Bear Delaware for 20 years. She had a passion for sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wayne A. Alford (1999); brothers, Charles and Richard Keen. She is survived by her sons, David Ridgway (Leesa) of New Mexico, and Eric Ridgway (Nancy) of Florida; brother, Willard Keen of Virginia; sisters, Barbara Wolford of New Jersey, Joan Eichholz of Delaware, Nancy Coldiron of Pennsylvania, and Kathy Oliver of New Jersey.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at 11am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, De 19803. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 10-11am. Burial will follow in Lombardy Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
Judi will be remembered for all the coasters dolls dresses shirts table settings and any other item you can think of done with a sewing machine—also a fun loving person—-also independent—-
