Juanita L. Wanner, 76, of Linwood passed away on Tuesday January 7th at her home. She was born in Chester to the late Elwood and Emma Beauchamp. Juanita attended Chichester High School and was a resident of Linwood for her entire life. She was a waitress at the West End Boat Club for many years before going on to work for Brooks Armored Car. Juanita enjoyed shopping, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George R. Wanner who died in 1980; son, George R. Wanner, Jr. in 2000.
She is survived by her daughters, Juanita M. Coceano and Anita F. Bolton; twin sister, Marjorie Pietzsch; sisters, Susie Morris, and Fran Zappala; Half-Brother, Kenneth Beauchamp; grandchildren, Gina Coceano, Stephen Bolton, Robert Bolton; Many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 14th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call from 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery. Donations in her name can be made to the American Kidney Fund at www.kidneyfund.org
I am sorry we could not attend Juanita’s viewing today. Our hearts are with you. I wish we had known her better and had spent more time with the family, I know she will be missed terribly.
