Joshua L. McColl, 40, passed away on August 27th at Taylor Hospital. He was born in Chester to Robin and Donald McColl, Jr. Joshua was raised and educated in Chester, where he was a graduate of Chester High School. Josh was a hard worker, spending much of his time as a landscaper.
He was a friendly person who loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his children, nieces, and nephews. He also enjoyed working on cars.
He was predeceased by his father, Donald McColl, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Kristen McColl; children, Joshua McColl, Jr., Jeremiah, Mcoll, and James McColl; mother, Robin McColl; brothers, Byron Nethery, Eric Stout, Matthew, David, and Joseph McColl; sisters, Jennifer, Victoria, Amanda, and Kathryn McColl; nephew, Anthony McColl along with many other nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 7th at 11:30am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to his viewing from 10:00-11:30. Burial will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills.
Josh was a best friend to his wife, Krystyn Jackson-McColl.
We laughed a lot, cried together at times, and spent our days happy in each other’s presence.
He will be missed until the day we meet again.
My heart will forever be devastated over his passing and not a day will go by without him on my mind.

Josh was a cool guy we grown up together on 14st . He was quiet at times n always a good friend
He was my brother from another mother I will be always be missed. Rip bro .it hurts so much. Whoever Would have The last thing we worked on together was a tire and I never got a chance to say goodbye not Knowing that that would be the last time I would be able to hear your voice . You we allways be missed.
