Joseph H. Yannuzzi, 76 years old, passed away July 25, 2008 at Wilmington Hospital. Born and raised in Philadelphia to the late Anthony and Florence Twelves Yannuzzi, Joe was one of 10 children.

He was a resident of Winterset Farms section of Wilmington DE for the past 4 years previously residing in Claymont DE for many years. Joe was self employed in the construction business of home remodeling, primarily siding, roofing and windows.

He enjoyed the race track and would frequent the track just to watch the races. He loved living in Claymont DE and enjoyed sitting out on his patio just enjoying nature. He was very close to his brothers and sisters and devoted to his home and family.

He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Florence Yannuzzi, his wife Ruth Mae Yannuzzi in 1997, and his brother Robert and sister Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife of 8 years Barbara Yannuzzi, 1 son Gary Yannuzzi of South Carolina, grandchildren Christy, Heather, Amy, and Gary, and siblings Charles, Thomas, Carol, Gloria, Richie, Mary, and Anthony, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends invited to his funeral service Wednesday, 11am Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home. Inc. ,1459 Market St., Linwood, viewing Wednesday, 9:30-11 at the funeral home; burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
