Joseph D. Bradley, 69, of Linwood died Friday, July 15th at Crozer Chester Medical Center. He was born to George and Anna Bradley in Boothwyn, where he was reared and educated. He was a graduate of St. James High School with the class of 1959. Joseph worked as a welder for Sun Oil for 31 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Marcus Hook Old Timer’s Association, the Sun Oil Honors Club, VFW Post in Trainer, Pa as well as the Brandywine Social Club in Claymont, De. Joseph also served the country as a member of the US Navy.

He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching all of the local teams, especially the Eagles. He also enjoyed traveling. What he enjoyed most, however, was time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his Wife of 40 years, Barbara Bradley; His Daughter, Leanne Bradley of Linwood; Son Michael J. Bradley of Linwood; Sister, Cecilia Ryan of Tinicum; Brothers, George Bradley of Claymont and Gene Bradley of Millsboro, De.; Brother-in-Law John Garvey; Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 21 at 10:30am at Holy Saviour Church in Linwood, Pa. Friends and family may call on Wednesday evening from 7-9pm and again on Thursday morning from 9am-10am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa 19061.
