John P. Dugan, 90, of Linwood passed away on Tuesday, October 15th at his home. John was a graduate of St. James High School with the class of 1953. He worked as a pipe fitter for BP oil for many years until his retirement. John was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was also a member of the American Legion and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
He was predeceased by his parents, John, and Mary Dugan; brother, Bernard Dugan, Sr.; sister, Eileen Kirby; nephew, Bernard Dugan, Jr.
He is survived by his siblings, James Dugan, Edward Dugan, Margaret Holbrook (Ralph), and Gerald Dugan (Barbara); several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24th at 10:30am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn, PA. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 9:30-10:30am in Church. Inurnment will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Main Line Home Hospice for their excellent care.
May perpetual light shine upon John. May John’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
