John “Jack” J. Momat, Jr., 75, formerly of Trainer, PA passed away peacefully at the Veterans Center in Spring City on January 24^th, 2024.  John was the son of the late John J. Momat Sr. and Mary Lewis Momat.  He was born and raised in Chester and was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1968.  He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Piedmont during the Vietnam War and went on to work for many years for the BP Oil refinery.

John loved the holidays, especially Christmas, and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He is survived by his daughters, Denise Lenhart (Chris), Michelle Lynam (Chris), and Jennifer Kinsler (Mark); 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30^th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Friends and family are invited to his viewing from 10-11am.  Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
