John J. Laurence, Jr. , 80, of Earleville, MD Passed away on May 19^th, 2022 surrounded by his loving wife and family at his home.  He was born and raised in South Philadelphia to the late John and Theresa “Tessie” Laurence.   John worked for Royal Petroleum and several other refineries throughout his life.  He enjoyed shooting pool, hunting and fishing.  What he enjoyed most, however, was spending time with his family, especially  his wife.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph Laurence and Ellen Laurence.  He is survived by his wife, Julia Laurence; sisters, Pat Marcolongo, Theresa Dougherty, and Sr. Irene Laurence; daughters, Tina Crawford (Mark), Antoinette Scott, and Jonnell Heck (Steve); step-children, Julie Bugey (Elliot), George DeGrave, Trisha DeGrave (Shaun), Bobby DeGrave (Apryl); 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson.
