Joan D. Tullio, 75, of Essington, PA passed away on December 23^rd, 2021 at Taylor Hospital.  She was born and raised in Trenton, NJ.  Joan worked at Crozer Hospital for nearly 40 years.  She enjoyed antiquing, going to flea markets, and shopping.  She also liked to spend time reading and taking trips to the beach.  Above all, she loved to spend time with her family.

She was predeceased by her mother, Elvira Ludwig; sister, Mary Freed.

She is survived by her son, James Freed; grandchildren, Jimmy and Joseph Freed.  Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 13^th at 2 pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Friends and family are invited for visitation prior to the service from 1-2pm.  Burial will be private.  Donations in her name can be made to the Delaware County Down Syndrome Interest Group at Make a Donation – Delaware County Down Syndrome Interest Group (delcodsig.org)
