Jeffrey D. Reed, 69, of Upper Chichester passed away on September 10th, 2025 at his home. He was born in Chester to the Late William and Mary Reed. Jeff was raised in the Twin Oaks section of Upper Chichester. He worked for 38 years as an electrician and retired from Wesley Enhanced Living. Jeff was an avid sports fan, especially of the Birds. He also enjoyed fishing and taking trips to the beach with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Janette Reed; sister, Linda Wolfe (Robert); brother, Alan Reed (Kaye); nephew, Keith Wolfe.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Reed; grandchildren, Ryan, Dominic, and Mackenzie; great-granddaughter, My’lah; brother, Glenn Reed (Michele); sisters, Sharon Fraber (Ted), and Sandy Baxter.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 10-11am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Laurel House at www.laurel-house.org
So Sorry I am just finding out about Jeff’s Passing. To all the Reeds, the June Family is thinking of you. Let time and love of your family lessen the grief of missing him.
I’m so saddened to hear of Jeff’s passing,we worked together back in the day at SnS and I always had good thoughts of him, he was a fine young man
