James J. Winkler

James J. Winkler, 60, of Aston died peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital surrounded by family. James was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 1969. He later went on to attend Penn State University.

He was a truck driver for many years with various companies in the tri-state area. Most recently, he was a driver for Dynamic Physical Therapy. He was an avid fan of both the Eagles and the Phillies. What he enjoyed most however, was time spent with his daughter.

He was predeceased by his mother Alice Tenaro, Step-Father, Anthony Tenaro and his sister, Alyse Winkler. He is survived by his daughter Jamie Winkler of Trainer; His brother, John Winkler and his wife Diane, who cared for Jim during his two year battle with cancer.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. His funeral service will be held on Thursday February 23 at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call from 10am-11am. Burial will be private.
