Helen May Cassidy (Fulmer) of Trainer, PA passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. Raised in Linwood, she graduated from Chichester High School, class of 1965, and eventually returned there as an employee, retiring from the Chichester School District after 20 years. Helen enjoyed spending time with her husband, Joe, at their place in Indian Acres of Chesapeake Bay, but loved nothing more than spending time with, and spoiling, her 3 granddaughters. During her working years she was a member of the Chichester Historical Society and a member of MADD.

Such a wonderful lady, so glad she was a part of our life. God Bless her family and I know all the wonderful memories will keep them strong. RIP dear sweet Helen and our favorite good bye man-Yana. With Love Rita and Rita.
The world lost a wonderful woman. A woman who made me feel like I was family even though I wasn’t. 💜
I am so sorry for your loss
Helen and Joe were like grandparents to my kids. They spent many hours in their home. Helen always took care of their needs. Her kindness and love helped shape who they are today. She will always be remembered with gratitude and love.
Our sincerest condolences to Sharyn and family, Brian and family, Howard and Kathy, Charlie and Linda and family. We have such fond memories of spending time as family with “Helen May”. She was a light in the room, always with laughter, good stories, and so full of life. Her positive attitude always prevailed even through the hardships. She will be missed. I’m grateful for the memories. May she rest in peace.
A wonderful person who often thought of others before herself. Rest in peace.
Helen brought sunshine to all that knew her. She was kind, caring, and dedicated to both her family and the students at Chi Middle School. My sincere condolences to Brian, Sharyn and the entire family.
I worked with Helen for many years. She was a fantastic assistant and constantly helping make students school experiences better. I am sorry to see her pass away.
