Helen L. Uleau, nee Anderson, 76, of Linwood died Monday, April 18th, 2011 at Crozer Chester Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born to Chester and Helen Anderson in Philadelphia, where she was raised and educated. She was a graduate of John Bartram High School. She worked as an operator for Bell Telephone for 14 years and also in the packaging department of Plumbmaster for 14 years.
Helen loved to play bingo, She enjoyed going to the casinos as well as reading. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 530 in Aston, Pa. She was also an avid Phillies and Flyers fan. What she enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her family. Helen was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her Husband, John Uleau, who died in 2003. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne O’Brien of Linwood, and Caroline Uleau of Oxford and her Son-in-law, Mark Haschak of Oxford; Her son Jeffrey Uleau and his wife Diane of Fleetwood, Pa; Three Grandchildren, Colleen O’Brien, Austin Uleau and Justin Uleau; Two Sisters-in-Law; One Brother-in-Law and many Nieces and Nephews.
Friends and family may call on Friday April 22 from 6pm-8pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa. Burial will be private.
