Harry C. “Butch” Walters, Jr., formerly of Marcus Hook, passed away on Thursday, November 15^th at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.  He was born in Chester to the late Harry ad Mary Walters.  He was a graduate of Chester High School with the class of 1961.  Butch was a veteran of the US Army, 82^nd Airborne Division, with whom he served during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a welder for the Sun Ship Company, and also in the maintenance department for the Chichester School District. He enjoyed spending time with his family and getting his daily 2 beers at the Star Bar.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Christine Fithian (1978) and his sister, Agnes “Jimmie” Teodoro . He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Curry; sons, Harry C. Walters III, and Jason Walters; grandchildren, Christine Scuderi, Richard Curry, Micah Walters, and Jamie Winkler.

His funeral services and burial will be private.
