May, 2014 — Frederick “PJ” Schmid, V, 34, of Smyrna, DE passed away. He was raised and educated in Claymont, where he was a graduate of Delcastle High School. What PJ enjoyed most was time spent with his daughter, Zoey.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda (Gillespie); Daughter, Zoey Rayne Schmid; Parents, Frederick and Sharon Schmid, IV; Brother, Joshua Von Schmid; Maternal Grandmother, Marie Bromwell; Many other loving family members and close friends.

His funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 8th at 12pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA 19061. Friends and family are invited to call from 10:30-12 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
