Francis J. Maher, 58, of Linwood passed away on December 10th, 2021. He was born and raised in Chester where he attended Resurrection School. He later went on to graduate from Garnet Valley High School. Frank worked as a roofer for over 40 years.  He loved his job. He loved cooking, fishing, people, family and taking family vacations. He especially loved his wife and daughter. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Frances Maher; his brother, Edward (Edsel) Maher; his sister-in-law, Maureen Maher. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Maher; daughter, Alayna Maher; siblings, Helen Ruger (Bobby), Nadine Scarpato (Paul), Rowena Thompson (James), Francine Glackin (Mike); Sharon Sebelist (Wayne), Robert Maher (Sarah), and William Maher; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Maher & Michelle Robinson; many nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 16th at 10:30 am at St. John Fisher Church 5224 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn, Pa. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 9:30-10:30 am in church. Burial will be private.
