Eric Lee Spencer, 44, of Boothwyn PA, formerly of Pennsboro WV, passed away at the Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville PA on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.  Eric was born on August 14, 1973 in Alliance Ohio to the late Stanley Lee “Buck” Spencer, and Anna Marie Spencer (nee Doty).

Eric moved to West Virginia in the early 90’s and was a 1992 graduate of Ritchie County High School, where he was an avid member of the wrestling team.  Eric proudly enlisted in the Marines after high school in 1993, where he spent time in Okinawa, Japan.  Eric received his Associates in Electrical Engineering, his Bachelors in Network Engineering, and went on to pursue his Master’s in Education.  After the birth of Eric’s beloved son, Gerad, he taught computer classes at CHI Institute in Broomall PA for several years.  Eric was also very passionate about his love of art, therefore began tattooing at a local shop in Thorndale PA, and eventually becoming the owner.  Not only with many years of displaying his beautiful artwork, Eric’s love, kindness and friendship made a lasting impact on the lives of everyone, especially those who loved him.

Eric is survived by his son, Gerad Lee Spencer, Sister Priscilla Carver (nee Spencer), Brother Jason Spencer, and his beloved Aunt Penny Perkins (nee Spencer). Eric also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

A graveside funeral will take place at Shirley Graveyard in West Virginia on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1pm.
