Ellen M. Wickersham Stokes, 37 of Frazer, PA died July 19, 2010 at home. Born in Chester where she was reared and educated, she graduated from Penncrest High School and spent most of her life in Delco. She has lived in Frazer for the last ten years.

Ellen was a woman who devoted her life to her home and family. Ellen enjoyed family vacations, camping and beach trips were her absolute favorite. She enjoyed going to the movies, watching every Eagles game and she was also known as a camera buff.

She is survived by husband Robert E. Stokes, Jr. She was the Loving Mother of Shane Robert Stokes, Haley Rae Stokes and Luke Patrick Stokes all of Chester County. Two brothers, David Shahadi of Bethlehem and Wayne Shahadi of Aston. Three sisters, Ryan Wickersham of Downingtown, Jamie Wickersham of Downingtown and Sarah Shahadi of Brookhaven. Her parents David K. Sr. and Beverly Truett Shahadi. Her paternal grandparents Thomas W. Sr. Anna Shahadi, Her Maternal grandparents Paul A. (Deceased) and Vera Grant Truett of Aston. Wendy Stokes Ellen’s Mother in Law, who acted as care giver to Ellen and her children.

Her memorial service and inurnment will be 1pm Friday at Lawn Croft Cemetery on the Ridge Rd., Linwood, PA 19061.
