Elizabeth J. Sullivan, 87, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 at Christiana Hospital. She was born in Claymont, DE to the late Albert and Anna Oberg. She was raised and educated in Lower Chichester where she attended Holy Saviour School and later was a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary School. Elizabeth enjoyed reading, crocheting, and cooking. What she enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, James T. Sullivan, who died in December, 2012. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Francis Oberg. She is survived by her Children, Tom Sullivan and his wife Carlyn of Massachusetts, Denise Brazell and her husband Tom of Wilmington, DE, Brian Sullivan and his wife Sandi of Lusby, MD, Dawn McCreary and her husband Jim of Langhorne, PA, Beth Flynn and her husband, Joe of Media, PA; Sister, Eileen Healy; Brothers, John, Albert and Tom Oberg; Grandchildren, Corcoran, Ryan, Bevin, Ethan, Maegan, Emily, Jeffrey, Mallory, Sara, Joseph and Katie; Great-grandchildren, Faylinn, Logan, Amiel, Harper, Ashland and Riley.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon on Thursday, February 7th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 4701 Weldin Rd. Wilmington, DE. Friends and family are invited to call from 10:30am-12pm in church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
