Elizabeth “Betty” Willard, 91, formerly of Chester Township, passed away on Monday, July 10^th, 2017.  She was born in Philadelphia to the late Amos and Mary Ellen Monhollan.  She was raised and educated in Chester Twp. where she was a graduate of Notre Dame Moylan High School with the class of 1943.  Betty was a founding member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Aston, PA.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing cross-stitch.  What she enjoyed most, however, was spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, William E. Willard, Sr. (1992); sister, Mary Opal; brothers, Amos “Bud” Monhollan, and James Monhollan; granddaughter, Aimee Willard (1996).  She is survived by her sons, William E. Willard, Jr. (Debora), Paul Willard (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Nancy Willard, Timothy Willard, Shannon Willard- Joseph, Sean Willard and Brandon Arcuicci; great-grandchildren, Maggie, Molly and Gavin; niece, Linda Greene; dear friends, Vince Czyzewski and Betty Brock; many other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 17^th at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston, Pa.  A viewing will be held in the church from 9:30-10:45.  Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
