Eleanor Punzina – 4/26/2018

April 30th, 2018

Eleanor Beiseigel Punzina age 79 of Wilmington, DE passed away with grace on April 26th after a brave battle with cancer.  Eleanor was born in Philadelphia, PA. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Vincent J. Punzina who adored her, and daughters Lisa Wanner (Mark), Theresa Cody (Greg Long), Christine Ostergren (Tim) and her beloved dog, Teddy.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  And she will be sadly missed by lifelong best friends Nancy & Art Fante, and Mary & Bob Gould.  She had a zest for life, loved traveling, spending time at the beach, but her greatest joy in life were her 10 grandchildren, Mark, Christine, Michael, Greg, Matthew, Nick, Bryan, Julia, Louis, & Alena. She will always be cherished for her unconditional love, fiery spark, and unsuspecting unique sense of humor. She leaves us broken hearted but rich in memories.

Predeceased by her parents Alvin & Francis Beiseigel, her brothers Harry (Kitty), Richard (Anna Mae), and Donald.

Her Celebration of Life will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 3rd at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa; Memorial Service at 8 pm.  Burial will be private.
