Edwin M. “Marty” Ferguson, Jr., 56, of Upland passed away on October 3rd, 2023. He was born and raised in Upland. Marty was a member of the Upland Athletic Club where he grew up playing many youth sports. Aside from being an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, he loved outdoor activities especially hunting and fishing. He was also an animal lover, especially his dogs. What he enjoyed most was spending time with family and friends. Marty always knew how to make everyone laugh and was always the life of the party.
He was predeceased by his father, Edwin M. Ferguson, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Ferguson; sister, Ruth Ann Ferguson (Sal); nephew, Justin Ferguson (Caitlin); companion, Leona Oxendine; many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 12pm at Upland Baptist Church. Friends and family are invited to his viewing in church from 11am-12pm. Burial will be private.
