Dorothy S. (nee Williams) Aponiewicz, 99, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2015 at Seasons Hospice. Born in Poultney, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine Williams. Dorothy was a resident of Lower Chichester for the majority of her life and retired from Scott Paper in 1974. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Dorothy came from a large loving Welsh family that included six brothers and three sisters. She spoke of her family with great love and admiration.

She was predeceased by her son, Daniel (Tommy) Sculley, grandsons Daniel Sculley and Patrick S. Sculley Sr. and her loving husband Henry J. Aponiewicz. She is survived and loved by her Daughter-in-law Bonnie Sculley, Grandchildren Darryl (Adriana) Hurd, J. Kurt Hurd, Katherine Sculley and Danielle (Donnie) Sculley-Ellett; Great Niece Mary Catherine Belmont, nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many dear friends.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 2 at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10am-11am. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
