Mrs. Dorothy H. Lowmeister Cox, 90 of Marcus Hook, died Monday August 9, 2010 at home. Born to Harry and Mary Foulkner Lowmeister in Bensalem, PA, where she was reared and educated. She lived in Chester for Thirty years. She has lived in Marcus Hook for the last five years.

A woman who devoted her life to her home and family. She enjoyed photography and playing cards. But what she enjoyed most was time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grand-daughter.

In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband Robert I. Cox who died in 1994. Survived by one son Ronald Cox of Florida. Four daughters Sandra Breen whom her mother made her home in Marcus Hook, Roberta Cox of Trainer, Patty Burgart of Nashville, TN and Deborah Cox Meyer of Montana . One brother Jack Lowmeister of Feisterville. Fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter.

Her funeral service and burial will be private.
