Dolores “Elaine” Downie, 83, was welcomed by the Lord on November 9th, 2023. Born to the late Forrest K. & Lula B. Elliott Downer, she was raised in Upper Chichester. She obtained her diploma at Chichester High School in Boothwyn PA. She cherished the time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, of 47 years, John “Jack” Downie, daughter Denise Cline, son Randall Downie, granddaughter Tamie Downie, Sisters Linda Mars, and Ida Spisak, Friend Bobby Addison, as well as her dog Buster. She is survived by her son John Downie, grandchildren Ricky, Robert, Racheal Downie, and 2 sisters Charlotte Izzo, Debbie Titerence. In lieu of flowers or donations, please take a moment to hug your loved ones, or go for a walk and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you. Time waits for no one.
Family and friends are invited to her graveside funeral service which will be held on Friday, November 17th at 12pm at Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills, PA.
