Dolores C. Ryan, 97, of Upper Chichester passed away on Tuesday, October 7^th at Riddle Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  Dolores was born in 1928 to the late William and Ethel Clausson.  She worked for 30 years at Harow Servo Controls in West Chester and then later went on to work in food service at the Boothwyn Elementary School until her retirement in 2011.

Dolores was a kind and gentle woman.  She was the best mother, grandmother and friend that anyone could ask for.  In addition to her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her Husband, John Raymond Ryan;  siblings, Edwin Clausson, Catheren Wirsing, William Clausson, Ruth Alt, Jean Jones, George Clausson, Glen Clausson, Robert Clausson, and Walter Clausson; son-in-law, David B. Firlein

She is survived by her daughter Linda Firlein; granddaughter, Tracey Hobbs and Jason; great-grandsons, Ryan and Eric Kanavel; 3 great-great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great grandchild; many, many nieces and nephews; her beloved dogs, JJ and Wren

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16^th at 1pm graveside at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.  In lieu of flowers, please make Donations in her name to the Providence Animal Center 555 Sandy Bank Rd. Media, PA 19063
