Denise Ann Shortlidge, age 58, passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2025, at Riddle Hospital with her husband by her side. Born in Upland, PA on July 21st, 1966, Denise was raised in Upland. She attended Chester High School and graduated in 1984. Denise met the love of her life, Scott Shortlidge, in June 1986. They married January 17th, 1987. Together they raised 3 children, David, Angel and Jordan in Upland. Denise and Scott moved to the Chichester area in 2004. Denise worked for Tri-State Liquor Mart for over 20 years, until her retirement in 2024. Denise was an avid reader. She was a huge Flyers and Nascar fan. She never missed watching a Flyers game to cheer her team on.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Pugh and Carol Pugh. Denise is survived by her beloved husband Scott, to whom she had been married 38 years. Her children, David from York, PA, Angel (Bryon Dustman) Glen Mills, Jordan (Nancy) Ridley Park. Her 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Isabella, Keegan, Bryson, Winry, Ava and Ella. Her siblings, Michelle Taylor (Upland), Tracy Madigan (Michael), Brookhaven. Denise is also survived by many in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends. Denise will be sadly missed by all who loved her dearly. Denise’s Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 from 3:00-5:00pm at Mac Queen Hall, 224 Castle Ave. Upland, PA 19015.
