David E. Bristow, 69, of Christiana Pa. Passed away peacefully in the company of family on Wednesday, June 5 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. David was a skilled welder/fitter in the area for many years until his retirement. David was born on January 4, 1955 in Chester Pa. He was the Son of the late William and Jane Bristow of Chester.
David was a member of Our Lady of Consolation in Parkesburg. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons, daughter, and grandchildren, playing cards, spending time with family, and teaching his grandchildren about his Lord and Saviour.
David is survived by his ex-wife Brenda Meadows of Lewistown, who was by his side until the end; Four children, three sons and a daughter. Jason, husband to Michelle of Auburn. Daniel, husband to Shannon of Lititz. Matthew, husband to Jessica of Christiana. Rebecca, wife of Kenneth Lloyd of Coburn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, one half-sister; many nieces and nephews.
David is proceeded in death by his daughter, Joyce Bristow and Grandson, Hunter Bristow.
Services for David will be held at Our Lady of Consolation Church 603 W. 2nd Ave. Parkesburg, Pa on Friday, June 14th, with visitation starting at 9:30am and Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30am. Interment will follow Mass at Our Lady of Seven Dolors cemetery on cemetery Rd. Parkesburg.
In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made in David’s name to St. Jude’s children hospital.

He was the best pop pop and loved his grandchildren very much. Hunter would share many happy moments with pop pop with us. And, alot of fish stories!
