Daniel T. Sculley, 73, of Linwood passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7th, 2014 at Crozer Keystone Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born to Daniel and Dorothy Sculley in Chester. He was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 1959. He worked for 47 years at Scott Paper/Kimberly Clark until his retirement. Daniel also served on the Chichester school board of directors for 18 years.
He enjoyed his time as a football coach for the Chichester Crusaders for 15 years. He also coached softball and hockey. He was an avid fly fisherman and tennis player. What he enjoyed most was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his beloved son, Patrick Sculley, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Sculley; Children, Darryl Hurd (Adriana), J. Kurt Hurd, Danielle Sculley-Ellett (Donnie), Patrick Sculley Jr. (Heather McCracken); Kathryn Dougherty; Mother, Dorothy Aponiewicz; Grandchildren, Stephanie Mabrouk (Mohamad), Heather McCormick (Michael), Derek Hurd, Ariana Coleman, Hannah Ellett, Daniel Sculley, Miranda Sculley, Chase Sculley, Ashley Sculley, Cheyenne Sculley and Nicolas Dougherty.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 10am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call on Friday evening after 6pm and again on Saturday morning from 9am-10am. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
