Catherine A. (Cay) Gallo Kistner nee Kester. 85, of Upper Chichester died September 4th at home surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Russell and Lucy Kester. She was reared and educated in Chichester. Cay graduated from Notre Dame High School Moylan with the class of 1956. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Booth’s Corner Farmers Market in Bethel Twp. for over 25 years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, trips to the casino and playing cards. What she loved most was time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Walter Kistner; son-in-law, Robert V. Scheivert, Jr., and her 5 siblings. Survived by her children Donna Muraska (Al) with whom Cay made her home in Upper Chichester, Susan Scheivert of Upper Chichester; sons, Donald J. Gallo Jr. Upper Chichester, David Kistner (Jennifer) of California, and Kenneth McLemore (Bobbie) Illinois; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her dear friend Mary Mahon.
Her funeral service will be Wednesday September 11th, 11am at the Ward funeral home 1459 Market St. Linwood. Calling will be Tuesday evening 7-9 pm and Wednesday morning 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery Upper Chichester.
