Carmen S. Turturici, 91, formerly of Folsom passed away on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 at Taylor Hospital. He was born in Chester to Joseph and Maria Santa Turturici. He was raised and educated in Marcus Hook where he was a graduate of Eddystone High School.
Carmen worked for Stull Enterprises in Chester for 35 years. He also was a long-time employee of Michael’s Pharmacy in Swarthmore. He was a 4th degree Knight of the Springfield Council of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey and baseball. He liked watching vintage movies as well as travel and nature programs. He also enjoyed taking day trips to Lancaster County with his wife.
He was predeceased by his Wife, Anne Turturici, who died in 2009. He is survived by his sons, Phil Turturici (Remonia), Anthony Turturici (Patricia), Ron Turturici (Deborah), Rich Turturici (Donna); 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 11th at 10am at St. Rose of Lima Church in Eddystone. Friends and family are invited to call from 8:30am-10:am in church. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Ridley Twp., Pa.
