Carl J. Mushinski (Hog), age 70, passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2024. Carl was born at Sacred Heart hospital in Chester and was raised in Boothwyn. He graduated from Chichester High School where he excelled in baseball and football, earning All-Delco honors in football and a scholarship to play at Lock Haven University. He also played softball in the Marcus Hook and Chester leagues. Carl resided in Las Vegas for 15 years working in the gambling industry before returning to Upper Chichester and residing in Lutheran Knolls.
He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan (especially the Phillies), and enjoyed watching his nephews play baseball and basketball. He was predeceased by his father, Carl and mother Jean Mushinski.
Carl is survived by his brother Ed Mushinski (Carol); sister, Lorraine Lex; nephews, Matthew, Jimmy, Danny (Stephanie), Jason (Danielle); nieces, Kristin, Kim, and Lindsay (Tom).
Friends and family are invited for visitation on Saturday, July 20th from 11am-12pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa. A memorial service will follow at 12pm. Burial will be private. Contributions in his name can be made to the American Diabetes Association at Diabetes Research, Education, Advocacy | ADA
