Brenda Oyola, 61, formerly of New Castle, DE, passed away on Wednesday January 15^th at Crozer Keystone Hospice in Ridley Park.  She was born in Chester and was raised and educated in Colwyn.  Brenda was a graduate of Darby-Colwyn High School with the class of 1976.  She then went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Delaware Technical College in Computer Science and Business Administration.  Brenda worked as a Teller at PNC Bank for many years, before becoming an operations specialist with Waste Management.

She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Brenda enjoyed gardening and flowers.  She was also deeply involved in all of her children’s activities as they grew up.  She was predeceased by her husband, Roberto Oyola who died in 1997; Parents, Hazel and James Matsinger.  She is survived by her children, Thomas J. Oyola (Jennifer Rogers), and Katherine Oyola (Cody White); sister, Lisa Matsinger; Aunt, Joyce Lort; Uncle, Steven Hollar; grandson, Robert Thomas White.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23^rd at 10:30am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Boothwyn, PA.  Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 9:30-10:30am in church.  Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
