Arlinda Williams, nee Gilbert, 61 year old of Chester, Pa., passed away May 31, 2009 at Crozer Chester Medical Center after a short illness. She was educated in the Chester School District. She worked for many Nursing Facilities throughout Delaware County. She enjoyed reading, watching TV and joking with family and friends.

Mrs. Williams was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Charity Forney Gilbert, brothers, Autry and Milton Gilbert, sister, Hattie E. Henry and sister-in-law Isabel Gilbert.

She is survived by her sons Alfred Williams Jr. of Chester, PA and Anthony Williams of Chester, 2 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, sisters, Patricia Mike, Elizabeth Gilbert, Barbara Green, brother, Thomas Gilbert, Jr. many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and special friend John Lewis.

Family and friends are invited to her funeral service Saturday, 11:00 AM at Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home. Inc., 1459 Market St., Linwood, with calling from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will be private.
