Anna M. McLaughlin Whelan, 85, formerly of Boothwyn and Glen Mills passed away on Thursday, February 6th, 2014 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. She was born to the late Michael and Anna Brox McLaughlin. She was raised and educated in the Lower Chichester area. Anna was retired from the Garnet Valley School District where she served as a bus driver. She enjoyed spending her summers vacationing in Cape May.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Whelan, who died in 2013. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 10am-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
