Anna M. Ballance, 85, of Linwood passed away on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was born in Marcus Hook to the late Arthur and Margaret Evans. She was raised and educated in Chester.

She was a woman dedicated to her home and family. She spent many years caring for her daughter, Patricia. Anna was an excellent cook who was known, especially, for her apple pie. She enjoyed playing the organ, listening to country music and spending time at the shore.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Husband, Myron R. Ballance (1993); daughter, Patricia J. Ballance (1997); sister, Ruth Townsend. She is survived by her children, Bruce W. Ballance (Sandra), Dennis S. Ballance (Linda), Nancy L. Dwyer (Jack); Sisters, Joan Smith and Jean Kirkpatrick; 7 grandchildren , 2 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, April 3 at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call from 10am-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
