Alice Marie Lloyd (Minchella)
November 21,1938
January 10, 2026
On January 10, Alice was called home leaving behind one daughter and two granddaughters and five great grandchildren and some great memories. Alice’s daughter and her granddaughter were by her side when she passed. Alice was born in Chester growing up there as well. She later moved to Upland where she raised her son Dan. Alice was a hard worker and worked her whole life. Her last job was with Bower socks in Trainer, where she retired. Alice enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved her family and spending time with them all. Alice enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and the waterfront. Alice loved playing cards and board games. She also liked listening to music and having her daughter read to her. Oh and she just loved talking about the good old days. Christmas was Alice’s favorite time of the year. The tree, the decorations, food, music, shows and everything about it. She just loved it. Alice was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, and she was a best friend. “My mom was a good woman with a very big heart.” There are no words to say how very much we will miss her. Anyone who has gotten to spend time with Alice knows how much of a sweet and kind woman she was.
Alice is proceeded in death by her husband, Scott Lloyd, her mother, Ruth Minchella, her son, Daniel Minchella, her granddaughter Tiffany Minchella; four brothers, Harry, John, Joe and Bob Minchella and one sister, Teresa (Sissy) Nickson.
Alice is survived by her daughter Marie Lloyd; her granddaughters, Shiloh Shahadi, (Jeremy) and Brena Minchella and five great grandchildren, Ryan, Jeremy, Elijah, Jordan, and Alayna and also her niece who she was very close to, Jeanie Null; other nieces and nephews that she loved.
Visitation and service are private at this time.
