Alice C. Walklett, 93, formerly of Ridley Park, passed away on Wednesday, September 1^st.  She was born in Claymont, DE to the late Matthew and Beatrice Brady.  Alice was a long-time member of St. Madeline Catholic Church in Ridley Park.  She also spent time volunteering at Taylor Hospital and was a member of The Young at Heart in Ridley Park.  She also loved to bake cakes for family birthdays, St. Madeline’s rectory and The Young at Heart group. Her apple and pecan pies were the best at Christmas! What meant the most to Alice was spending time with her family and telling stories of her childhood.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Alexander Walklett, daughter, Janice Oropeza; son, David Walklett; siblings, Robert Brady, Dolores Palmer, Phyllis Murray, David Brady.

She is survived by her son, Alec Walklett (Terri); grandchildren, Karen, Christy (Josh), Shelly (Glenn), Sean, Dan, Heather, Scott (Heather); great-grandchildren, Zack, Emily, Collin, Chase, Samantha, Kieran, Scott; sister, Kathleen Murray; and daughter-in-law, Pat Walklett.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10^th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa.  Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 10-11am.  Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
